Summer is coming to an end- I've adored having a veggie garden serve me as a super-market right in my own back yard. You see, when you start a business that IS your focus...and this year I started two of them.

The first business, Talking Stick Enterprise, is a partnership that began in 2016- the first TSE project will happen in a couple weeks! The Harvest Moon Symposium, a wellness festival in Southwest Washington is big work, we have been blessed with volunteer help this year or our dream would not have come true. Both partners have their own business and we couldn't be crazier. Both partners are also dealing with difficult situations involving elderly family members.

Lesson Learned! LIFE IS NOT INTO GIVING PEOPLE BREAKS--IT'S LIFE, THE GREAT AND MIGHTY TEACHER.

The second business, Graphically Deb, is a sole venture that has been amped up to replace my day job.

Lesson Learned! LIFE DOES NOT STEP UP WITH A FINANCE PLAN WHEN YOU DECIDE TO GO IT ALONE.

Lesson Learned! DAY JOBS MAY BE TOO EXPENSIVE TO KEEP.

Lesson Learned! COMPENSATION COMES IN MANY FORMS, AND SO DOES THE COST OF KEEPING A JOB.

But it is Monday- first day of the never ending entrepreneurial seven day work week. The sun is shining and I am having a cup of coffee. My first break will include watering my garden with my dog following my footsteps. Who gets a life like this??? Me!
